Between 200-350 NPs attend every year and are able to network with colleagues, meet local specialists, and receive high quality continuing education at a reasonable price close to home. The first conference was held in a Lincoln City at an elementary school. More recently the conference has been held in various resorts such as Sunriver, Hood River, and Salishan.

The NPO conference is organized by a volunteer committee who contacts speakers and staffs the conference. Many hours of volunteer work go into the conference every year and any profits made are used to provide scholarships for NP students and support other worthy causes and activities of NPO.

The NPO annual educational conference has brought nationally known speakers to Oregon and utilized local experts in areas of primary care including women’s health, general family practice, pediatrics, and psych/mental health content.
