Registration

Online registration is open and will close on March 27, 2023.

Conference Fees:

  • NPO Member rate: $75
  • Non-member rate: $150
  • NP student rate*: $50

*NP students can register for a discounted rate but must email NPO to confirm enrollment in an NP program. After confirmation, you will receive a discount code to register online at the student rate. Please email NPO@oregonrn.org with your name, contact information and proof of enrollment. 

 

Continuing Education

Learners can earn up to 6 contact hours of nursing continuing professional development (which includes 5.5 pharmacotherapeutic contact hours).

To obtain a CE certificate for this activity, the learner must complete the following criteria:

  • Attend one or more sessions of the conference
  • Complete the online evaluation form for each session attended no later than May 1, 2023.
  • Participants who successfully complete the above requirements will receive a CE certificate from the Nurse Practitioners of Oregon for the contact hours claimed during the evaluation process. Participants should only claim the sessions which were attended in full.

Any participant who has NOT claimed their contact hours by May 1, 2023 will NOT receive a CE certificate.

Oregon Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Dr. Margaret Fitzgerald is a clinician, entrepreneur, author, and speaker. She is founder of Fitzgerald, a leading national provider of NP certification preparation and CE.

Jayne S. Mitchell, ANP-BC, CHFN

Jaynes S. Mitchell specializes in caring for patients who have heart failure and assists with their transition back to the community. Jayne has worked with heart failure patients and their families since 1980.

COVID-19 Safety Policy

To ensure the health and safety of all participants, ONA/NPO is developing a COVID-19 Safety Policy for the conference that will be informed by current CDC, OHA, and local guidelines.

Attending the event is attestation of being vaccinated against COVID-19 and being free of the following infectious disease symptoms:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • New loss of sense of smell/taste

Masks will be provided upon request.
