The Nurse Practitioners of Oregon education committee is excited to
announce the NPO Annual Education Conference will be held in Bend, Sept. 28-30, 2023.
The conference is designed to support the professional practice and
learning needs of nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists,
advanced practice nurses, physician assistants and other interested
health care providers by providing a variety of evidence-based
educational topics.

Continuing EducationLearners
can earn up to 22.25 nursing continuing professional development contact
hours, which includes up to 8.18 pharmacotherapeutic contact hours. Oregon Nurses Association is accredited as a provider
of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses
Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. RegistrationRegistration has been extended through Sept. 21.
Conference Fees 
Conference fees include: attendance at the
conference, breakfasts, Thursday and Saturday lunch, Friday’s NPO
Business Luncheon, beverages and snacks. - NPO Member Rate is for members of
ONA/NPO or members of other state nurses associations that are
affiliated with the American Nurses Association. Proof of membership in
other state nurses associations required.
- Non-Member Rate is for NPs and CNSs
who are not a member of NPO, physicians, physician assistants, and all
allied health professionals.
- NP Student Rate is for students who are currently enrolled in an NP program. Proof of enrollment will be required.
- Retired NP Member Rate is for NPO members who have had their license officially retired with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
ANA MEMBER DISCOUNT
ONA/NPO members can access their American Nurses Association member benefit and receive a $25 discount off registration. To apply this discount, you must be an ONA/NPO member, log into the NPO website, and use the code ANA25 during checkout.
WORKSHOP FEES The hands-on workshop sessions available
during the conference will be charged a $35 fee for each session you
attend to cover materials costs. CANCELLATIONS Cancellations must be received on or before
Sept. 18, 2023. An administrative fee of $50 will be deducted from all
refunds. No refunds will be given after Sept. 18, 2023. Written
cancellations should be emailed to NPO@oregonrn.org. BECOME AN NPO MEMBER AND SAVE
NPO is currently holding a year-long membership drive, featuring a 1-year membership in NPO for only $250.
If you are not yet a member of NPO, you can join for only $250 and save
up to
$300 on conference registration fees. Complete the membership

- NPO
group rates will be honored for attendees three (3) days before group
arrival and three (3) days after group departure, based on availability.
If you plan to extend your stay beyond September 27 – 30, please call

When
reservations are made, the hotel will require a deposit equal to the
room rate and tax for the first night for each reservation. An
individual’s deposit is refundable to that individual if the hotel
receives notice of an individual’s cancellation at least 72 hours prior
to scheduled arrival. Rooms at the group block rate must be reserved by no later than August 28, 2023.
Other EventsThere are various meetings and dinners taking place during the conference that are not directly related to the conference and have no continuing education hours attached. NPO Conference attendees are invited to take part in the events listed below. NPO Independent Practice & Business Owners Networking Dinner This event, hosted by Julie Foster, NPO Chairperson and IPBO Committee Chair, is a networking opportunity open to an NP who has their own practice or is interested in starting their own practice.
